OMG! I really loved this book. It's a sizzling combination of hot sex and super sweet romance. Andras and his twin sister, Amanda, are Children of Lilith. The male of the species is known as an incubus, while the female is a succubus. I've never heard of an incubus before; and the only time I've ever heard of a succubus was in that episode of "South Park" when the woman Chef was dating turned out to be a succubus, and that was NOT a complimentary view of the species. LOLAnyhow, the Children of Lilith are sexual predators--it's not as bad as it sounds. Basically, they need to feed off of the sexual arousal and orgasms of humans. Ultimately, what the Children of Lilith seek is a compatible human life-partner, who will not only provide them with nourishment, but also affection. Sweet, huh? LOL The human partners of the Children of Lilith are known as "philtata" or "philtato." What makes it difficult for a Child of Lilith; however, is that not every human makes for a compatible partner. Andras' is on the verge of a depression. He's been alone since the death of his philtata. In an attempt to cheer up her brother, Amanda fixes him up with her co-worker, Katie, who happens to have an aura which indicates she would make a compatible partner for a Child of Lilith. Andras and Katie go out on a date, and from there the story progresses. What unfolds is a very sweet romance between Andras and Katie, with some super hot love scenes. Although Andras and Katie have a BDSM sexual relationship, Andras is in no way one of those overbearing, bossy, control freak types. He simply takes charge in the bedroom, and Katie is more than happy for him to do so. Oh and there are no whips, canes, crops, etc., as Katie is not into pain. LOL Before the couple can achieve their HEA; however, Andras must reveal his secret to Katie. But, will she accept him once she knows what he really is?
Great story, well written, with fabulous protagonists. I loved it and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys erotic novels, and who don't mind a bit of the paranormal. FYI this book contains m/f, f/f, m/f/f situations. Happy reading!

Loved it. Its a bit different than other incbus books I've read. But that made me like it even more. The intimate scenes between the couple believable and enjoyable.
Well done B/d. I enjoyed the story line. I would've liked a bit more background on Katie and Andras. Be aware that the B/d and sex are a bit hard core, but not over done given Andras' incubus nature.

I won this book in an giveaway and I'm so happy I did. While the intimate parts are very erotic and stimulating I was also caught up in the characters themselves. The only negative was the editing. There were quite a few missing words that you have to fill in for yourself but it in no way to lessoned the story for me. Great story!!
Hot as Hell, which is only appropriate, as her lover is a demon. But what is unusual in this kind of book is that it is also extremely well written -- characterization, style, and plot are all first rate. I am going to buy Devlin's other supernatural romance right now. Can't wait to read more about the Children of Lilith!
Well written and nicely executed.... Good pacing as well. I would have wanted more in-dept story on the characters but I started this book not knowing it was apart of a series. So now I really interested in learning about the Children of Lilith...😉😈
Not for those that want romance-only love stories, but if you like your stories hot with romance overlapping everything, this is a book for you. Katie and Andras are a wonderful couple, in and out of the bedroom (or restaurant, or wherever), and the supporting characters are drawn well enough that you hope to see more of them in later books for their own stories. The action is hot - m/f, f/f, f/m/f, plus a touch of multi - but it all fits the story. Time for me to go find another book by this author.
This was such a great story. Amanda and Andras were twins. Andras had lost his mate. As a Incubus he need to find someone to feed of sexually. He after the loss of his mate he had given up on life. He was ready to throw in the towel and die.
Amanda had a friend named Katie and she knew she would be prefect for her twin brother. After Andras had met her he knew that Katie was perfect. The problem is Andras has to easy Katie into everything. He needs to let her know what his true nature is and wonders how she will handle the news. Will Katie run away screaming?
